Library Advisory Committee

About the Library Advisory Committee

The Lake Forest Park Library Advisory Committee serves as a liaison between the Lake Forest Park Library, the Lake Forest Park City Council, the Lake Forest Park Mayor, the community of Lake Forest Park, and the King County Library System. City residents are welcome to sit in on Committee meetings.

The Committee supports and promotes reading as a lifelong activity. They curate the summer READS program as well as attend the LFP Farmer's Market to provide outreach for adult and child summer reading programs and to encourage the freedom to read.

Meeting Dates

  • 7:00 p.m.
  • Quarterly, in March, June and September on the fourth Wednesday of the month; in December on the first Wednesday of the month.

How to Join

Committee members are appointed by the Mayor and serve for three years. If you are interested in serving on the committee, please complete the online application. It will be forwarded to the Mayor at City Hall (206-368-5440).
