Deferred Prosecution Program
Deferred prosecution is a program in the State of Washington, whereby if you are accused of certain crimes, including DUI, and the crime was caused by alcoholism, drug addiction, or mental health problems, the case can be dismissed if you receive treatment for that problem.

Volunteer Intern/Mentor Program
As part of its outreach program, the court utilizes volunteer interns and mentors high school students. Under the supervision and direction of the court staff, volunteers are invaluable, helping the court to compile data for special projects, acting as bailiffs while court is in session, filing and preparing jury summons.

Youth Court
The Shoreline/Lake Forest Park Youth Court (SLFPYC) is a diversion program that directly involves the youth in the adjudication, disposition or resolution of traffic offenses, in a structured process that resembles traditional court proceedings.

Unified Payment (UP) Program
Beginning October 1, 2017, individuals with traffic related fines in multiple jurisdictions in King County will have an easier and less expensive way to pay court-mandated fines through the new Unified Payment (UP) Program. This program also lifts the hold on a person's driver's license before the fines are paid in full.
