Though a dead or dying tree may pose a risk to property, there are no mechanisms by which the city may intervene in this case. Because property owners are not required by code to remove dead, dying, or hazard trees, this is strictly a civil issue.

There is no Lake Forest Park City Code that prevents people from parking operable vehicles in their yards.

7. What is a "Junk Vehicle"?

Junk vehicle means a vehicle meeting at least three (3) of the following requirements: (RCW 46.55.010(4))

• Is three (3) years old or older
• Is extensively damaged. Such damage may include, but is not limited to any of the following: Broken Window or Windshield, Missing Wheels, Tires, Motor, or Transmission.
• Apparently inoperable
• Has an approximate fair market value equal only to the approximate value of the scrap in it.
