My house is vacant and no one is using water. Why do I have to pay for sewer?
In Lake Forest Park the residential sewer rate is a flat rate. It is not base on water usage or consumption. It is based on being connected to the system.

Can I have my sewer bill emailed to me?
The City offers paperless billing. Click on the Utility Payments button at WWW.CITYOFLFP.COM. You will be directed to the options where you can view your bill and sign up for paperless billing.

Can I pay my sewer bill using a credit card?
The City offers the option to pay with a credit card. However, there is a fee of $3.95 to use credit card and a maximum of $250 per transaction. There is no fee for paying using an electronic check from your bank (EFT). Click on the Utility Payments button at WWW.CITYOFLFP.COM. You will be directed to the options where you can view and pay your bill and sign up for paperless billing.

My bill has "Electronic Service Requested" printed above my name and address. What does this mean?
The phrase "Electronic Service Requested" on the sewer bill is messaging meant for the postal workers. It informs them that the City has electronic notification of address changes. The City is not requesting that you sign up for on-line payments or auto-pay.
