About the Lake Forest Park Youth Council

The purpose of the Lake Forest Park Youth Council is to provide a vital link between the youth of Lake Forest Park and the greater community by initiating communication with local government, schools, and organizations. The Youth Council looks to advance the interests of youth through community service and educational programs.

Meetings are typically held once a month at City Hall, September through June. Meetings are organized by the leadership team (experienced Youth Council members) and are facilitated by volunteer adult advisers and city staff. Meetings are not open to the public but eligible students interested in participating may attend anytime.
